Panjshir Regular seeds are produced by an Afghani landrace variety found in Panjshir Province in the eastern Hindu Kush mountain region of Afghanistan. Due to its culture, geography and socio-economic history, this mainly Tajik ethnic region is home to what is likely to be a distinct cannabis strain.

Traditionally grown at a latitude of 35.5° north, Panjshir harvests are due in October. Harvested plants are used to make ‘charas’ the term used for sieved hashish throughout Afghanistan.
